Meet Dareen. Dareen is a translator working with Friends of Refugees. She’s a part of their Embrace program, which helps guide refugee mothers through the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

Meet Seth. Seth believes all people have dignity. More importantly, he believes all people deserve to know they have dignity. So, Seth devotes his time to City of Refuge—a community in the heart of Atlanta.

You’ve Made a Difference for Open Hand
Meet Matt. Matt first volunteered at Open Hand Atlanta back in the mid-90s. Fast-forward a couple of decades, and Matt returned to Open Hand to lead the organization’s fundraising efforts, ultimately accepting the role of Executive Director in 2011.

Meet Jackie. Jackie is a senior citizen living in Atlanta. Recently, he needed some repairs made to his home—and not small repairs. He was in need of critical repairs that would directly impact his safety and accessibility to his home.

Meet Jacob. Jacob works at The Place of Forsyth. As part of his job, he oversees The Market, which is a client-choice food pantry serving over 200 families each week.
You’ve Made a Difference at No Longer Bound
Meet David. He’s a graduate of No Longer Bound, a 12-month residential addiction recovery program. Several years after graduation, he has returned to NLB to be their newest certified addiction counselor.
