Jambos: Greatest Need
Moving into the foster care system is a scary and uncertain transition. For many children, it happens so suddenly and quickly that they don’t have time to pack clothing to bring with them.
Home of Hope: Childcare / Daycare Assistance
Since 1987, Home of Hope has worked to end the cycle of homelessness in Gwinnett County. Home of Hope serves families experiencing homelessness by supporting them through a transitional living program, educational classes, financial planning, and career preparation.
North Gwinnett Co-Op: Life Changing Help
North Gwinnett Co-Op has long served the community of Gwinnett by providing people with food, guidance, and other resources to help them get back on their feet, whether their struggles are related to job loss, health problems, or other crises. For Bob, this help was life-changing.
Eagle Ranch: Technology and Curriculum Support
For the last 35 years, Eagle Ranch has gone above and beyond in order to serve struggling families and students through education, counseling, support groups, and family care.
Home of Hope
Home of Hope provides onsite housing, life-skills classes, job-search assistance, and more for moms and children experiencing homelessness. Case managers work closely with moms to help them land a job and move their families out of homelessness, but one of the biggest obstacles is the need for and affordance of childcare.
Lighthouse Family Retreat
Lighthouse Family Retreats, a faith-based nonprofit, offers a respite for families by providing a week-long beach retreat as they walk through childhood cancer diagnoses and treatments. In July 2022, a team from Hamilton Mill responded to the call to serve with Lighthouse and were able to personally encourage and serve some of these families in North Carolina.
North Gwinnett Co-Op
In Matthew 25:35–40, Jesus talks about the importance of caring for “the least of these.” When we care for our brothers and sisters, we show our love for him as well. These verses are the heartbeat of the North Gwinnett Co-Op’s ministry to the county.

Eagle Ranch: Wings Initiative Program
Meet Eddie. Eddie Staub is the founder of Eagle Ranch, a community uniquely designed to help make life better for children and families going through a crisis.
Eagle Ranch: Mark and Tifaney
Mark and Tifaney are house parents at Eagle Ranch, a residential program designed to help children in crisis. Children living at the ranch have a range of emotional and relational issues they work through with counselors and supportive mentors, all with the end goal of creating healthy long-term relationships with their families.
