Water Projects with Lifewater

Meet Ballam.

Ballam is a hydrogeologist—he studies the way groundwater moves through soil and rock. And, he’s just the person Lifewater International needs.

Lifewater is committed to ending the global water and sanitation crisis for villages in Ethiopia, Cambodia, and Uganda by creating self-sustaining water sources in remote villages.

While water projects aren’t unique, the way Lifewater approaches them is. In fact, they have a 92% success rate because of people like Ballam.

Thanks to 2019’s Be Rich donations, Lifewater was able to hire Ballam to help create two new water sources in Ugandan villages. He conducts research for each drilling site to make sure it is in the best location and oversees daily drilling operations. These steps ensure the long-term success of the new sites.

Because of your generosity, families in these villages will have sanitary water sources. Clean water leads to healthy families and kids—kids who can attend school, which ultimately helps break the cycle of poverty in these communities.

Thank you for making a difference.
