Family Promise of Forsyth is on a mission to help families experiencing homelessness achieve sustainable independence. They offer temporary shelter to families in need while helping them search for stable jobs and independent housing.

Chattahoochee Elementary School: Book Vending Machine
When Chattahoochee Elementary School staff started brainstorming ideas to improve student reading scores, they knew they had to think outside the box. Enter: The Bookworm Vending Machine.

Mentor Me of North Georgia
Mentor Me believes in the power of mentorship to transform students. Thanks to your generosity, they were able to launch one of their “Kick It Up” clubs at Little Mill Middle School.
The Place of Forsyth
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, so many of our friends and neighbors are experiencing unexpected losses of income and uncertain economic futures. Thankfully, they have The Place of Forsyth to turn to.
Otwell Middle School
Many families at Otwell Middle School struggle with language barriers. While the students speak English, many of their parents do not. With last year’s donations, you provided for the addition of a part-time bilingual parent liaison.
Forsyth and Dawson County Social Workers
Each year during the Be Rich campaign, we look for ways to help local schools thrive. Thanks to your generosity during 2020’s campaign, we were able to contribute to several emergency funds for school social workers in Forsyth County and Dawson County.

Meet Karin and Gail. Karin and Gail are social workers who facilitate a suicide intervention-training program for Forsyth County Schools.
The Place of Forsyth: The Market
Meet Jacob. Jacob works at The Place of Forsyth. As part of his job, he oversees The Market, which is a client-choice food pantry serving over 200 families each week.
