Good Samaritan Health Center Of Cobb

Meet Beth.

Beth is the new part-time pharmacist at Good Sam Cobb—an organization that provides quality and affordable healthcare to the poor, underinsured, and uninsured. Hiring Beth has helped Good Sam solve a huge problem.

See, we all know medicine is powerful, which is why conversations with pharmacists about how to take medicine correctly—as well as the potential side effects and drug interactions—are crucial.

When pharmacists at a place like Good Sam aren’t available to have conversations with patients, doctors have to step in and fill that gap. But that means doctors are pulled away from what only they can do, and they have less time to see patients.

Thanks to 2019’s Be Rich donations, Good Sam Cobb received the funding necessary to hire Beth and cover her salary for an entire year.

Doctors now have more time to see patients, and those patients will still have the important, in-depth conversations about their prescriptions. All of this means greater accessibility to quality healthcare and ultimately a healthier community for Cobb and the surrounding areas.

Thank you for making a difference.
