North Gwinnett CO-OP: Shoe Drive

Nothing beats stepping into the first day of school in a new pair of shoes—confident, comfortable, ready to learn. Every kid deserves that feeling.

Each year the North Gwinnett Co-Op's Back to School Bash makes sure kids in our community start the year ready. Every kid receives a bookbag packed with school supplies and is fitted for a brand-new pair of shoes.

On July 18, over 600 kids from Gwinnett County were fitted for new shoes—and 400 of those pairs were covered by your generosity through Be Rich. Parents picked everything up before the first bell rang on August 3, and together, that generosity helped the Co-Op serve over 200 more families than last year.

When a kid gets to show up in new shoes just like their classmates, it can be the difference between feeling like they belong and feeling like they don't. And that confidence is carried into the classroom, into friendships, and in how they show up each day.

Thank you for stepping in where it matters.
