Whispering Hope: House Manager

Meet Amy.

Prior to 2024, she was a lawyer, author, consultant, and strategist.

Today, she’s the House Manager at Whispering Hope Maternity Home—walking daily alongside women rebuilding their lives after unplanned pregnancies.

It all started with a simple question asked one Sunday right here at Browns Bridge: What breaks your heart?

Amy didn’t just answer—she acted. What began as a conversation about volunteering became a full-time job. Now she helps guide women and their babies through an 18-month life transformation process of healing, growth, and hope.

At Whispering Hope, women find more than shelter. They find stability and the chance to create a new future—for themselves and the generations that follow.

Amy’s favorite part? “Getting to work every day with the strongest women I’ve met while helping them transform their lives.”

When you participate in Be Rich, you don’t just help our nonprofit partners positively impact those they serve—you impact their staff as well.

When you give, you help fund work that’s rarely flashy but always life changing. When you serve, you do so with an excellence that’s tangible and joy that’s contagious. Your generosity and service put wind in the sails of staff members like Amy—people who chose to walk away from easier, often more comfortable lives to help make a difference in our own backyards and around the world.

Thank you.
