Table on Delk: The 320

“The goal was never for this to grow.” –Tina, founder of Table on Delk

In 2017 Tina began a daytime outreach on the Delk Road Corridor, meeting with women and children caught in sexual exploitation. Nine years later, she and a team of volunteers host an outreach six days a week. This year alone, they have connected with 1,100 unique women and children entirely through volunteers… and partnerships like Be Rich.

Tina never set out to build an organization. She just kept saying yes to the next need in front of her. She and her volunteers met tangible needs, sat in long conversations, and showed these women and children the love of Jesus. They connected those ready to take a first step toward recovery to resources and stood beside them as they began to rebuild.

But in 2020, Tina faced a new need.

For years, she watched those rebuilding their lives hit the same wall: woman after woman walked out of recovery having done the hard work of getting clean—wanting a new life but with no bridge to get there and nowhere safe to land.

Some made it. Too many didn't.

So that September, Tina sent one email with an audacious ask: $300,000. She explained why, and within nine days, $420,000 had been pledged. Within thirty days, Table on Delk had closed on a new property, The 320.

The 320 is a semi-independent living space for women who have completed inpatient recovery but aren't ready to go it alone. It's a place to practice the skills of ordinary life—budgeting, routine, relationships, follow-through—with a community still close enough to catch them if they stumble.

It’s named after Ephesians 3:20—the promise that God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine—and it has become exactly that. It’s more than a building; it’s a place where restoration and growth take root.

Since it opened, eleven women have gone through the program and two more women and their children are there now… which presented Tina with a new need.

Many of these women are mothers. So construction is underway on two 3,000-square-foot cottages on the property—homes designed for four mothers and their children at a time, offering up to two years of more independent living and stability as they continue the hard work of generational change.

“This is not at all what I told the Lord ‘okay’ to. The goal was never for it to grow, but God continues to do abundantly more. I just try to do my part and let God do his. I help change their tummies and their environments; he changes their hearts. And that’s what keeps me going… seeing them soften to the Lord.” –Tina

Through Be Rich, we've partnered with The 320 to provide the support and supplies women need to manage day-to-day life on the property. And this year, our hope is to help Tina and her team outfit the new cottages' laundry rooms with washers and dryers for the mothers and kids who will soon call The 320 home.

To those who participate in Be Rich, thank you for saying yes to the need in front of you.
