BCM Georgia: Emergency Assistance Coordinator

Two years ago, we asked BCM Georgia to tell us what would make a difference for them in 2020. Without knowing all that would change in the next few months, they told us they wanted to hire an Emergency Assistance Coordinator so they could serve even more of our neighbors.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to present BCM Georgia with a matching gift that funded a full year’s salary for this position and enabled them to hire someone as incredible as Hannah to fill it.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, her role has become crucial as many in the community have become unemployed and have struggled to make ends meet. Hannah is working with a team of caseworkers to help individuals and families avoid evictions and shutoffs while facing this crisis. 

This is yet another example of how, even months later, we get to be a part of what God is doing through Be Rich—not just for organizations like BCM Georgia, but for individuals and families across our city.
