Learning Opportunity Grants - 2024

DEF Opportunity Grants provide Decatur students access to opportunities they might otherwise miss due to financial constraints. This gift funds grants to cover areas such as tutoring, college counseling, school trip travel, special education summer programs, and early childhood learning. The goal is to ensure all Decatur youth have access to educational and enrichment opportunities, helping them succeed regardless of their financial situation.

Joe's Fund Support - 2024

Joe's Fund is the behavioral health initiative of DEF and grants funds and support to organizations and groups working to support the healthy development of Decatur's kids. This gift covers the cost of two trainings each of their Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Trainings (ASIST) and Narcan trainings. Each ASIST session trains 30 people to help create a suicide-safe community.
