Emergency Assistance for Families - 2022

This gift, managed by The Place of Forsyth County, allows the social workers at Dawson County Schools to bridge the gap between home and school for at-risk students. The funding covers housing assistance, school-related needs, and other emergency issues students and their families may encounter.

Parent Engagement Incentives - 2022

This gift, managed by The Place, funds incentives given to families that are involved with and participate in community programs that teach classes such as parenting, budgeting, and how to maintain housing. The hope is that these classes can help families that are identified as at- risk of homelessness, housing, food insecurity, or who are otherwise in crisis due to an inability to plan for their needs.
