Low-income families constantly face financial strain due to low hourly wages and the rising costs of rent, utilities, food, and other necessities. One unexpected disruption—a missed shift at work, a medical bill, or a car repair—can put them at real risk of eviction. These funds enable BCM’s case managers to assist nearly 40 families during such crises, helping them stay rooted in the communities where they live, work, and learn.
