Little Mill Middle School

Emergency Assistance for Students and Families - 2022

Many families continue to face financial difficulties due to the effects of COVID and the economy. In addition, Little Mill is losing their Title 1 funding this year, which affects even more of their students' families. This gift provides for basic student needs as they arise throughout the year to help enable student success.

Family Engagement Events - 2022

This year, Little Mill Middle School loses its Title 1 funding. Family Engagement Events, that previously were covered under the funding, are extremely successful in creating a partnership between families and the school. This gift helps fund six family nights so parents can continue to engage in this collaborative partnership without disruption.

Professional Learning Support for Staff - 2022

Teachers rarely have the time they need to collaborate and design quality instruction and assessments for their students. This gift helps fund a planning day for each grade of teachers at Little Mill to have a day free from teaching responsibilities to work collaboratively.

Science Lab Resources - 2022

All students take science in school, but in order for them to actually do science, they require labs and hands-on activities. This gift funds consumables used in hands-on lab projects for each grade at Little Mill. Consumables may include trays, cotton balls, etc.

Teacher Appreciation Support - 2022

Teachers and volunteers at Little Mill work diligently each day to support educational and emotional learning for their students. This gift provides two meals during the school year to show appreciation to these hardworking staff and volunteers.

Eighth Grade Celebration - 2022

Little Mill wants to celebrate the accomplishments of their eighth graders before they continue their educational journey in high school. This gift funds a fun and exciting celebration for the eighth graders and their parents.
