Little Mill Middle School
Field Trip Support - 2025
Many students at Little Mill Middle School lack opportunities to experience cultural, educational, and social activities beyond their daily environment. Grade-level and voluntary field trips—such as visits to theaters, museums, and science centers—expand students’ horizons and create meaningful, real- world connections to academic content. This gift provides funding for field trip participation and social event access for students in need.
Family Engagement Events - 2025
Family engagement plays a critical role in student success, yet many families lack opportunities to connect meaningfully with their child’s school. Little Mill Middle School addresses this by hosting events that build strong partnerships between families and educators. This gift funds family engagement events that strengthen collaboration and support student achievement.
Conference Room Upgrade - 2025
The outdated conference room at Little Mill Middle School serves as the primary space for IEPs, parent meetings, and 504 discussions, but its dated appearance undermines the professionalism of these important gatherings. This gift funds a new rug, fresh paint, chairs, lamps, and a collaborative table to create a welcoming and functional meeting area.
Student Attendance Incentives - 2025
Little Mill Middle School faces challenges with overall student attendance, including during the 11 days of Milestones testing, which affects academic success. Providing snacks during testing and monthly attendance incentives, such as class parties, motivates students and increases participation. This gift funds these snacks and incentives to support improved attendance.
PBIS Rewards - 2025
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a program schools use to reinforce positive behavior and reduce negative behavior. Through PBIS, staff model core values such as honesty, empathy, respect, and determination, helping students understand how their actions connect to both natural and assigned consequences. This gift funds high-interest PBIS rewards that recognize growth and reinforce positive behavior for all students.
