Staff Support for Development - 2024
Each year Lighthouse Family Retreat continues to provide resources and retreats to more families living through childhood cancer. In 2024 alone, they added two weeklong and two weekend retreats. To ensure that the organization has the resources to continue to support this growth, this gift funds the addition of an administrative assistant to support Lighthouse's Development and Partner teams.
Mission Partner Development - 2024
Each year Lighthouse Family Retreat continues to provide additional resources and retreats to more families living through childhood cancer. In 2024, they are adding two weeklong and two weekend retreats. As part their strategy to invite more people to partner with their mission, Lighthouse will host potential investors and partners with opportunities to get to know the staff, see their ministry in action, and explore opportunities to engage more deeply. This funding covers the cost of this effort for 30 stakeholders.
Impact and Program Videos - 2024
In recent years, Lighthouse has expanded their support of families living through childhood cancer to include weekend retreats and resources for families who have lost a child to cancer. To help their stakeholders better understand the breadth of their work, Lighthouse is creating a series of videos to tell their story, demonstrate their impact, engage partners, and inform donors. This project funds the creation of a series of videos for this purpose.
System Development and Integration - 2024
In recent years, Lighthouse has expanded their support of families living through childhood cancer from weeklong beach retreats to also include weekend retreats and resources for families who have lost a child to cancer. As a result of this expansion, the organization needs to invest in and further develop their technology systems. This gift funds a system administrator staff position, system training for their staff team, and an upgrade to their teleconferencing capabilities.
Marketing and Training Resources - 2024
In recent years, Lighthouse has expanded their programming for families living through childhood cancer to include weekend retreats. Updated recruiting videos, fliers for hospitals, and leader training assets are needed to inform, inspire, recruit volunteers and donors, and to support the experience for retreat families. This project funds the creation of marketing, recruiting, and training resources tailored to weekend retreats.
