Friends of Refugees (FOR) strives to nurture flourishing communities for new Americans and spends a lot of time gathering people together. As a result, some of their physical spaces like the Jolly Avenue Garden and the Embrace House are showing wear and tear. While their newly- remodeled Hospitality House is cheery and bright on the inside, its outdoor spaces need a lot of work. These gathering spaces are vital to the community and provide places for language classes, baby showers, community celebrations, and relationship building. This gift provides the funds needed to repair and upgrade these properties ensuring that FOR can continue to offer high-quality hospitality to their clients, volunteers, and guests.
