Deaf and Hard of Hearing Resources - 2025

Cumming Elementary School serves 20 Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students who rely heavily on visual learning to develop language, self-advocacy, social skills, and literacy. This gift funds resources that enhance communication, independence, and engagement for DHH students, while also fostering inclusion by helping peers and families learn sign language and better understand hearing loss.

PBIS Support - 2025

Many students struggle to meet behavior expectations without structure and meaningful incentives. Cumming Elementary School has implemented the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program to reinforce positive behavior and reduce negative behavior through rewards, mentorship, and celebrations. This gift funds student incentives, experiences, and events that help build a safe, kind, and responsible school culture.

Emergency Assistance for Students and Families - 2025

When their basic needs are not met, students have a difficult time learning. This gift provides funds for Cumming Elementary School to help their students in need with food, clothing, medical and mental health services, and housing support.

Robotics Team Resources - 2025

The students at Cumming Elementary School lack the proper technology and materials needed to explore coding, engineering, and problem-solving in engaging, hands-on ways. This gift funds two VEX IQ competition kits and two computers to support the robotics team and to inspire future students to get involved, grow as learners, and perhaps discover a lifelong passion for technology and innovation.
