Educational Program Funding - 2024
For Seeds of Hope, children are their bridge to the community. Currently, new trailer classrooms are being built for the 7th grade students who will arrive in September 2024. This allows the organization to continue to grow, keep children in their educational program, and get the organization one step closer to an entire Seeds of Hope Educational Complex. These funds cover the financial gap between the operating budget, tuition, and child sponsorships.
LEGO Education Program Funding - 2024
The current education system in Jericho is overly theoretical, making it challenging for students to easily grasp concepts and enjoy learning, especially in STEM subjects. To help solve this issue, SoH is incorporating LEGO education sets into their curriculum to engage students in these subjects through fun hands-on learning and interactive activities. These funds purchase LEGO sets, provide for teacher training workshops, curriculum development, teacher fees, and other supplies.
Shine Program Funding - 2024
Seeds of Hope (SoH) is dedicated to serving and empowering women in the Jericho community who are not typically regarded as valued individuals and are mostly assumed to be deeply subordinate to men. Creating programs specific to women is unusual, but can be a path to meaningful conversation and change in their homes with extended families and within their local communities. Through the Shine Program, SoH has the opportunity to share life-changing values with over 40 women. These funds provide for gym coaching, gym equipment, program course fees, gifts and rewards, and operating expenses.
Summer Camp Funding - 2024
During the summer, the Seeds of Hope Cultural Center offers a four-week camp to roughly 64 campers, enabling them to learn and do fun activities to develop their physical, mental, athletic, and artistic abilities. The ultimate goal of the camp, however, is to meet campers where they are spiritually and to be a source of Jesus in their lives. These funds bridge the gap between the registration fees paid by the campers and the cost to host the camp.
Land for School Expansion - 2024
Seeds of Hope has the opportunity to purchase the property adjacent to their new elementary school, allowing them to continue building the Seeds of Hope Educational Complex and to keep more children in a Christian educational environment. Purchasing the land today helps secure the property for future classrooms and grades and avoids price increases. These funds pay land registration and attorney fees as well as helps toward completing land purchase.
