Border Perspective

Building Expansion - 2024

After more than 30 years of prayer and many years of hard work, Border Perspective's local partner, Iglesia Misionera Cristo Vive, has a new church home in San Juan, TX. Border Perspective is working alongside the church to turn the building into a space that can function as a multi-purpose area for the local community and for Border Perspective groups. It will house a garage, food pantry, kitchen, and dorm. These funds help with demolition costs, new foundation, and plumbing installation as well as equipment necessary for the expansion.

Peacemaker Training Development Program - 2024

Border Perspective's Peacemaker Training is designed to provide practical and interactive tools about how to implement their service learning model for local outreach and international short-term trips as well as how to build healthy ministry partnerships and practices. These funds allow them to develop the Service Learning Model Curriculum and Beyond the Border Simulation and begin writing a book/resource that explores the journey of a family who followed God’s call to practice faithful presence.

Annual Giving Day - 2024

In order to achieve financial sustainability over the next few years, Border Perspective is beginning an annual Giving Day initiative. Their goal is to raise $75,000 to help with operational costs. A matching grant from Be Rich helps them attract givers with an opportunity to see their donation doubled.
